Vaibhav Reddy was born on 21 April 1978. He is the son of Telugu film director Kodandarami Reddy.
He made his debut to the Tamil screen in Venkat Prabhu’s hit film, Saroja. After more collaborations with Venkat Prabhu and Sasikumar, he made his debut as a solo lead actor in the 2014 film, Damaal Dumeel.
Vaibhav went on to star in a variety of genres, usually incorporating a lot of humour. He changed this trend in 2024 with his 25th film, Ranam Aram Thavarel with a serious role in an investigative thriller. He also played an important role in Vijay’s Venkat Prabhu directorial, The Greatest of all Time.
His latest film, Perusu earned praise for him but the film did not do well at the box-office.
