Aishwarya Rajesh turns 35 today

Aishwarya Rajesh comes from a family of actors and actresses in the Telugu world. She was born in Chennai on 10 January 1990 and grew up there. She made her acting debut as a child artist in the 1995 Telugu film, Rambantu.

She became a TV presenter on the show Asathu Povathu Yaaru and got her break in films after winning a dance reality show, Maanada Mayilada on Kalaignar TV. Her debut film in Tamil was the 2010 movie Indrasena and had her first major role in the film 2011 film Avargallum Ivargallum, but she won fame and praise for her role in Attakathi – which marked the directorial debut of Pa. Ranjith.

Aishwarya Rajesh established herself in the industry by careful selection of roles that challenged her acting abilities and took care to choose a variety of roles. Her role in the 2015 film Kaaka Muttai (jointly produced by Dhanush and Vetrimaran) was praised by famous film critic Baradwaj Ranga as one of the 100 best performances of the decade.

She made her solo debut in the film Kanaa – produced by her close friend, Sivakarthikeyan in his maiden venture as a producer. This role also won her much praise.

In 2018 she was in the Chennai Times’ list of 30 Most Desirable Women and featured on that annual list quite frequently.
