After the box-office disaster of Kanguva, it looks like Suriya’s next film, Retro, will see him return to form. Written and directed by Karthik Subaraj, the film is co-produced by Karthik Subaraj’s Stonebench Creations and Suriya and Jyothika’s 2-D Entertainment.
The supporting cast includes Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Naasar, Prakash Raj Karunakaran and Ramachandran Dhurairaj. Shriya Saran also makes a special guest appearance.
The film locations include The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Ooty, Kerala and Chennai.
Music has been scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Retro is scheduled for global release in June 2025.
