Impact of the song
Easy listening melody with good lyrics and some interestingly creative musical interludes. Like many other Rahman songs, it needs a few listens to get into it. The change at the end of each charanam lifts the song up.
Vocal rendition
Adithya RK’s voice is smooth and soothing and is beautifully complemented by the silky voice of Alexandra Joy. It is well within Adithya RKs comfort zone and he therefore shines in his rendition.
Lyrics
The lyrics have a poetic depth that is surprising, given the title of the song. There are some beautiful metaphors embedded in the song with helps on repeated listening.
Final Analysis
Give this song at least three listens before making up your mind about it, as it definitely gets better with each listening. The visuals are tastefully handled and definitely piques interest in the film.
