Sunaina, who is of Telugu descent, made her Tamil debut opposite Nakul in the 2008 film Kaadhalil Vizhunthen.
With the success of this film came more offers to act in Vamsam, Neer Paravai, Samar, Vanmam, Nambiyaar, Kavalai Venaam, Thondan, Kaali and in the ground-breaking romantic horror thriller Nilaa Nilaa Odi Vaa, one of the pioneering OTT experiments with big screen stars.
Her role in Sillu Karupatti was greatly appreciated as was her role in the Amazon Prime original series, Inspector Rishi.
Her last released Tamil film was Rocket Driver in 2024.
Sunaina turns 36 today.
