Kamal and Suriya in Kaidhi 2?
Unconfirmed reports from Kodambakkam portal, Thiraichudar, cite Kamalhaasan and Suriya being confirmed to make special appearances in Karthi’s Kaidhi 2 written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh had earlier indicated that Kaidhi 2 would definitely be part of the LCU.
R.Madhavan and Gautham Karthik in Netflix series
R.Madhavan and Gautham Karthik will share the small screen in a forthcoming Tamil Netflix series. The series will be produced by Karthik Subbaraj and will be directed by Sharukesh Sekar.
SK23 title announcement tomorrow
The title of Sivakarthikeyan’s 23rd film under the direction of A.R.Murugadoss will be released on 17 February 2025 to coincide with Sivakarthikeyan’s birthday. This is a comeback movie for A.R. Murugadoss whose previous outings did not meet with success. His second time collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan (His first was Maan Karate) is an action thriller that also has in its cast Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon and Vikranth.
Another delayed movie releases
Following the success of the delayed release of Madha Gaja Raja 12 years after its initial release date, the producers of the Vimal-Soori starrer, Badava have also released their long delayed film which had been shelved for six years. The film has met with a lukewarm response.
Arulnithi returns in new action flick
Arulnithi makes a comeback to films in the role of a boxer in a film directed by Muthaiah. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and sees Tanya Ravichandran play the female lead. The film will not have a theatrical release, but will release directly on the Sun TV Network.
Vikram Prabhu in dual hero subject
Seven Screen Studio earlier this week launched their latest film – a dual hero subject with Vikram Prabhu and LK Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. The film is directed by Suresh, a former assistant to director Vettrimaaran. The story has been penned by Thamizh, the writer and director of Vikram Prabhu’s critically acclaimed Tanakkaran.
Vijay Sethupathi to team with Kadhalikka Neramillai director
Unfazed by the lukewarm reception to her last film Kadhalikka Neramillai, director Kiruthiga Udhayanithi has approached Vijay Sethupathi to play the lead role in her next big budget film. An official announcement will be made in March.
