Actress Sri Divya was born on 01 April 1993 to Telugu-speaking parents in present day Telangana.
Although her first Tamil signing was Nagarpuram, delays to that film meant that her first released Tamil film was Ponram’s Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam opposite Sivakarthikeyan.
A year later she starred opposite Vishnu Vishal in Suseenthiran’s Jeeva and opposite Vikram Prabhu in vellakara Durai.
She then reunited on screen with Sivakarthikeyan in the commercially successful Khaki Sattai.
From the end of 2015 through to 2016, Sri Divya acted in back-to-back Tamil films like Eetti, Bangalore Naatkal, Pencil, Marudhu, Remo, Kashmora and Maaveeran Kittu, enjoying varying degrees of success with each, while also establishing herself as a talented actress capable of playing a variety of roles.
She had a single release in 2017 – The horror comedy Sangili Bunguli Kadhave Thore opposite Jiiva.
After a 5-year break, she returned with the release of the long delayed Mofussil and followed this with Vikram Prabhu’s Raid. Her last released film was the hugely successful Karthi-Aravind Swamy starrer, Meiyyazhagan.
