Shruti Haasan, the elder daughter of actor Kamalhaasan and actress Sarika, made her acting debut as a child artist in the landmark film Hey Ram (2000) and marked her adult debut in Tamil opposite Suriya in AR Murugadoss’s Yezhaam Arivu. Her other film credits include 3 opposite Dhanush, Puli opposite Vijay and Vedalam opposite Ajithkumar.
She has since pursued multiple paths in the entertainment film, including scoring music for Unnai Pol Oruvan as well aswriting, producing and recording songs across various languages.
She has won seven SIIMA awards and 2 Filmfare South awards and has twice featured in the Top 100 celebrities in the Forbes India list.
Shruti Haasan will next be seen in Mysskin’s Train and Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
